When Tanner and Anderson first contacted me, I was nervous. Why, you ask? They told me that they loved my work and HAD to have me photograph their wedding. Being one who doesn’t take well to praise, I immediately thought “Uh Oh, what if I don’t live up to myself on this one?” Then I find out that Anderson works over several art galleries in the UK, that have world famous artists in them. No pressure at all! However I learned that Tanner served this country in the Armed Forces and knew that I had to make sure it was not only good enough, but that it would live up to their expectations.
The two of these fine gentlemen met online from around the world. Tanner in North Carolina and Anderson in England. I’m always amazed at what the internet has done for love in this world. They chose Maui to join their lives together. We met at Po’olenalena Beach in Wailea an hour prior to the nuptials to get the formal portraits in the best light. The beach was nearly empty and we made the most of all of the natural amenities it had to offer. It was a intimate ceremony consisting of just the grooms, officiant and myself. Thank you guys for choosing me to capture the memories for you forever. I had a really great time and am glad you “got” my sense of humor. I wish you the best of luck in your lives together. Mahalo!

I am a photographer living on the beautiful island of Maui, Hawaii. There is no better place on the planet. Hundreds of people a day come to Maui to spend a week with their families. It’s the perfect time to get photos done to capture memories that will least a lifetime. I know because my wife and I were married here in 2012 and spent the next 3 years figuring our how to get back. Not everyone will be able to make such a drastic life change, so why not capture it with high quality digital images. Maui Family Portraits, Honeymoons, Couples, Friends, Seniors or any other reason is a good reason to hire a professional photographer in Hawaii. Don’t let your pictures sit on your phone until you drop it and lose them forever. Just like your family, quality matters. Technology only gets better, so you should have your images done with the latest and highest quality products available at the time. Cherish the memories, hang the photos. Mahalo!
